The financial year, 2012-2013 has started with a boom of opportunity for Deepalaya’s students. In the alumni meet held on 1st April at Deepalaya School in Kailash Colony, New Delhi; Amway offered them with job opportunities.
Amway is one of the largest direct selling companies that uses multilevel marketing to sell a variety of products is offering Deepalaya’s students with career and growth prospect. Amway India is a member of the Indian Direct Selling Association (IDSA). The IDSA is an industry regulatory body, with several reputed international and Indian Direct Selling companies as members.
Associate Manager of Amway Opportunity Foundation, Mr. Raj Nairain and the Business Development Manager Mr. Kanwardeep Narula visited Deepalaya School to enlighten the students about Amway and a path breaking career in the multilevel marketing field in the alumni meet. The tremendous support of Amway Opportunity Foundation with Deepalaya continues for the fourth year with a hope to provide education and health to attain economic independence.
Mr. Kanwardeep Narula made a presentation on the Amway sales and marketing plan for the students. The workshop organized by Amway India for old students of Deepalaya on ‘career opportunities in Direct Selling Industry’. He explained Direct Selling is “the marketing of products and services directly to consumers in a person-to-person manner, away from permanent retail locations. Depending on the company, the sales people may be called distributors, representatives, consultants or various other titles. He opened a chance for them to opt for direct selling as either a full time or a part time job so that the children could earn extra to support themselves.
