Deepalaya has six formal schools - five in South Delhi and one in Gusbethi village of Haryana. Five schools are of primary level and one (in South Delhi) is a senior secondary school. All these schools are English medium private school like school for slum children. We beleive that the poor also deserves the best and there should not be different systems for the poor and the rich. In our small way we try to bridge this gap by providing quality education at affordable costs.

I have recently moved to Gurgaon from the UK and would like to do some volunteering if possible. I work full time for an insurance company, however I have spare time in the evening and most weekends.
I have done some earlier volunteer work in Pune in 2002 where I was teaching children and women English. I am also able to look after babies, decorate classrooms, help with office admin…!!
