Deepalaya organized an educational exposure for the six DRIP partners to Bodh Shiksha Sansthan, Jaipur during 17 to 21 October 2005. 22 personnel from the DRIP partners and six from Deepalaya participated in this exposure.
Deepalaya organized a Consultation on the Right to Education Bill, 2005 on 9th November 2005 at India International Center, New Delhi where about 40 people represented 31 organizations. Ms Razia Ismail of the India Alliance for Child Rights facilitated the Consultation. The other Panelists were Mr Vinot Raina of the Bharat Gyan Vigyan Samiti, Ms Farida Vahedi, of Bahai Office for Advancement of Women, Ms G.Syamala, of Action for Ability Development and Inclusion and Mr Karan Tyagi of National Alliance for Fundamental Right to Education.
During the 3rd half year period – October 05 to March 06, Deepalaya conducted nine training programmes/ workshops, which extended for 12 days and covered 45 personnel per programme and 51 per DRIP partner. These included - six Coordinators, seven Supervisors, 57 Teachers and 11 Accounts staff.
During this period, DRIP team made 205 monitoring visits to the 85 Learning Centers run by the six DRIP partners.

Continuing with its programme to enhance capacity of the six subgrantees, Deepalaya organized a workshop on "Documentation" on 28-29 September 2005. 17 participants from six subgrantees attended the workshop, which was facilitated by Ms. Shikha Gupta , Consultant and Mr. M.O Peter, DRIP Co-ordinator.

Reach India has launched a programme called "The Learning Classroom Series" to enhance capacity of the subgrantees. The first of these, on "Enriching the relevance of Core Curriculum" was conducted on 19-23 September ‘05 at India Habitat Center, New Delhi. Mr.M.O.Peter, DRIP Coordinator Mr.K.C.Pant, Manager Programme, Ms.Annie Deepa James, Programme Officer, Ms.Shravani Das and Ms.Anita Pandey, Teachers respectively of Deepalaya Sanjay Colony and Deepalaya Kalkaji Extn. participated. There will be two more such workshops in October and November 2005.
Reach India organized an Exposure Programme for its sub-grantees to the Bodh Shiksha Samiti, Jaipur, during 18-22 July 05. There were 17 participants from five Sub-grantees. From Deepalaya, M/s MO Peter, KC Pant, Trishpal and Indra Dahal participated. The programme comprised orientations about Bodh philosophy and programmes, visits to the Schools conducted by the Samiti in Jaipur City slums, and to one of the Government Schools in rural area with which BSS is working. Deepalaya is planning a similar exposure for its Sub-Grantees, to Bodh in September ‘05
Karmath Charitable Trust organized a rally of students attending their Learning Centres, on Independence Day ’05, exhorting people to send their children to school.

Deepalaya has scheduled an exposure program for its Sub-Grantees to the Nursery School conducted by NCERT at IIT Campus and to School conducted by Katha at Govindpuri, on 23rd August ’05.
