Young Achievers

komal-dssc.jpgKomal a student of class VIII of Deepalaya School Sanjay Colony received an award from the President of India, Ms. Pratibha Patil during a painting competition organized by National Human Rights Commission and Delhi Child Rights Club.

Mamta, a student of class VIII bagged first prize in the solo dance competition organized at the Annual NGO Mela by YMCA in New Delhi. She faced a tough competition with 50 other participants.

Four children, Gaurav, Chander Roshni, Naveen, Vaibhav participated in the National Bal Bhawan Annual Eco Meet held by the Department of Environment and Forest. Students from Deepalaya participated in discussions on the role of the youth to preserve and maintain the environment, along with students from 10 other schools.
