Deepalaya REACH India Programme
Another Feather in Deepalaya’s cap!
A feather in Deepalaya’s cap was added in September 2004 when REACH India selected Deepalaya, out of the many non-governmental organizations (NGOs) that it studied. It is one of the Capacity Building Grantees for implementing a programme for educating out of school children. Deepalaya is expected to ensure identification, education, enrollment, mainstreaming and retention of a minimum of 3,000 out of school children in North, North West, West and South West Delhi by August 2007. This is to be accomplished through supporting and guiding six non governmental organizations in these areas.
