Deepalaya School, Kalkaji Extension stood 11th among the top 20 schools across India in the contest for the Gobar Times Green School Award conducted by the Centre for Science and Environment. It was a grueling contest with 1400 schools from the length and breadth of the country participating. A number of schools that were much better placed than Deepalaya in terms of facilities etc had taken part. But what ultimately counts is the quality of the students and that of the teachers who teach them. This point was made loud and clear by the students of Deepalaya. Join us in saying Congratulations to the winning students. Top (L to R): Ms. Parvinder (Teacher), Ms. Shikha Pal (Principal),
Sumit (Class IX), Gaurav (Class IX), Ravi (Class XI), Anand (Class X) Bottom (L toR): Updesh (Class VIII), Smita (ClassVIII), Lovely (Class VIII),Urvashi (Class IX)
