Employees from the renowned computer company in India - DELL are so impressed by the talented children of Deepalaya Gram that they
want to come again & again to visit them, interact with them and shower them with gifts. The interaction started when NASSCOM (National Association of Software & Service companies) Foundation referred Deepalaya to DELL, one of its member companies, for its Global Community month in September in which, away from their graveyard shifts & busy schedules, they wanted to spend some quality time
with children from marginalized socio- economic background and contribute their bit to it. The first visit on 28th Sept. by about 0 employees from DELL to Deepalaya Gram initiated a bond of love & care between the two. Words of appreciation & recommendation about Deepalaya soon spread among the different sections of DELL which led to another visit on 09th Oct. by another group of employees who brought sweaters (as per size) for about 110 children in the hostel and also a VCD of popular animation film "Hanuman".
Plans have already been made between the children & employees of DELL for celebrations around Diwali, X-mas and New Year.
As quoted by Jugraj Singh, Manager - Corporate Comm. at DELL who initiated the partnership:
I am so moved by the welcome and love that I have received by these children. Seeing their talents and skills I am sure that these children will definitely do good
in their life. I am so glad that I have been referred over by NASSCOM Foundation to Deepalaya!
