Deepalaya - Enabling Self-Reliance

Dear Friends, we seek your support in ensuring Deepalaya’s
participation in the HDHM 2006. You can contribute in any
of the following ways-

• You can participate in the event as a Dream Runner. Your dignified status and philanthropic nature can help us in rewriting the lives of many unprivileged children especially the physically and mentally challenged who continue to live an unjustified life. To participate in Hutch Half Marathon Delhi 2006, you need to raise Rs. 1 Lakh in pledges through your contacts. Every contribution will be acknowledged through a receipt and you can also avail the facility for tax exemption U/S 80G of the IT Act.
  Along with many other distinguished Dream Runners, you will be participating in The Great Delhi Run covering a distance of 7kms and thereby help spread word about Deepalaya and its programs.
• If you are working or associated with a corporate, you can motivate your company to participate in the event through ‘The Corporate Challenge’ category, making Deepalaya the beneficiary of the event.
  It’s a golden opportunity for your company to come forward collectively in support of the ‘Differently Abled’. To participate in the Corporate Challenge category, the company needs to do the following:
  1. Sign up the registration form by submitting Rs. 1.53 lacs as non-refundable contribution which is donation towards the cause you support and also includes the entry fee for participation in the event.
  2. Put together teams up to 30 runners, with each individual in the team donating/raising a minimum amount in pledges. Contributions will have the facility of 50% tax rebate (U/S 80G of IT Act).

  Your company can display all its promotional material (banner/poster/handouts) at the Marathon venue. It’s a unique way to bring together your employees to show that you care for the disadvantaged children and also engage in a healthy challenge and enjoy in the energized atmosphere of the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium.

• For everyone who would like to do their bit and run for the cause of Deepalaya, can participate in The Pledger’s United category as an individual or as a team member of a school, college, community or residential society via a group entry, and make a difference. You can register with Rs. 200 which includes your Entry fees for the run and also gets you the Pledge kit, which enables you to raise pledges/contributions for Deepalaya’s special children through your friends and contacts. All contributions will receive 80G certificates for availing IT exemption (U/S 80G of IT Act).
• In case the above categories don’t suit you but you wish to be part of this event of the year, you can make a contribution to ensure the participation of Deepalaya’s children Shyam and Mukta in The Great Delhi
  Run of 7 kms in HDHM. You can also motivate your family and friends to donate to the cause (Please fill the details of other donors in Pledge sheet format available). All contributions will have the facility of 50% tax rebate (U/S 80G of IT Act).

Kindly make your payments in favor of ‘Deepalaya’ in the donation format provided and mail it to the address given below.
We will soon dispatch your receipt and your 80G certificate and will keep you informed about the utilization of your contribution in Deepalaya’s work for the special children.
