Deepalaya - Enabling Self-Reliance

On the 22nd December, Deepalaya School Sanjay Colony celebrated its 7th Annual Day. The event was inaugurated by Chief Guest Mrs. Mary Mathew, ex-sponsorship officer at Deepalaya.

Jingle bells, jingle bells Jingle all the way!
The function began with the inauguration of Rainbow the school wall magazine. Depicting the theme “Summer Activity 2005” children of four different houses displayed their house Bulletin Boards. An Exhibition of art and crafts was also organized where children exhibited their artistic talents. But the special attraction of the show was an English skit “Healthy Food” written, directed and acted by the children themselves. The concluding dance- item by nursery students to the tune of Jingle Bells…added Christmas flavor in the air. On this occasion prizes worth Rs. 4000 were distributed to excellent students. Mr.Brijender Singh and Mrs. Vimla Devi were also felicitated on this occasion for their outstanding contribution to Deepalaya to educate their daughter Sanju, student of class VIII. About 1000 children and parents made the event a great success by their presence.
