Food for the underprivileged

Representatives from SNF - Soubhagya Nirmalam Trust and Narang Trust discussing about the food for the underpriviliged childrenOn 9th of May, three organisations from the social sector -- Narang Trust, Soubhagya Nirmalam Foundation (SNF) and Deepalaya – joined hands to bring happiness in the lives of the underprivileged. When Dr. Faye Farmer from SNF interacted with the children attending ASHA and FADA classes at RJRND, the organization immediately came forward and proposed that they would like to support these girls with light food every day. Since the idea was noble, the Deepalaya and SNF decided to inaugurate the scheme in the presence of Mrs. Asha Narang from the Narang Trust.

The guests including Mrs. Asha Narang, Mrs. Shanta Sastri and other members of SNF were given traditional welcome with Tilak by the headmistress, teachers, staff members and few children of class II.  The children then sang a welcome song and greeted the guests.
